Pre-new year's resolutions. So I've never been one for new year's resolutions because I think resolutions have less chance of being seen through when they are made specifically for the new year. That said, I did make a few resolutions before the new year came around, and I'm happy to have started the year off fresh. Mostly these resolutions have to do with my sleeping habits, of which I have had a couple odd ones. The first one, which isn't actually so odd, is that I have required a fan to sleep ever since I was a little boy. Sleeping without one was very difficult. After watching An Inconvenient Truth and feeling guilty for all of the energy I waste, I decided immediately to cut my use of the fan. Surprisingly I did this with little effort. I simply moved the fan out to storage and told myself to simply forget about it. Ever since that night in late november/early december, I have slept fanless. So... hoorah! The next was more tricky. You see, for quite a while I have needed four pillows in order to sleep. Two for my head, one for my knees, and another to hug and support my shoulder. Recently, however, another pillow was thrown into the mix. I now required a ridiculous five pillows in order to sleep well. I ended up staying the night at my brother and lawful sister's house on christmas eve. There were two pillows on the bed, and I barely got a wink the entire night. I decided I needed to get off the pillows. Over the next couple nights, I took pillows off my bed until all I was left with was two. This change also ended up being surprisingly easy, and I'm so happy to be a more normal sleeper. Now when I share my bed or sleep elsewhere, I'll have fewer issues to deal with. So again... hoorah! The final change I made was not triggered by any incident in particular. I just decided I need to be comfortable sleeping in the nude. Yes, I have never been able to sleep well without underwear or shorts on. It's odd, perhaps. It never really bothered me. But, in the spirit of reducing my sleep "necessities," I decided to lose the chonies! Triple horrah! I now sleep in silent, still air with only two pillows and the sheets freely caressing my cock. Congratulations to me! January 7, 2007 | 2:11 PM | Link | 0 comments |
