Holy mother of hell! OUCH!

I'm making marrons glaces! OUCH!!

I don't think I'll be able to use my fingers for a couple of days, at least.

Lovely, lovely. Ain't it, though?

"I'm gonna walk on up to heaven,
I'm sure you'll see me there.

"Might be the last dead man to make it,
Hell yes, I know that I'll get there.

"I will be wearing clothes of fire
but I'm sure you'll see me there.

"I'm gonna crawl on up to heaven.

"I may be trailing you in ashes
but you know that I'll be there.

"I will find you there."

Diamanda and Alan really should get together again. They make such beautiful music!

Half the man...

Halfway through my drive to work this morning I realized, tired as I was, that I had missed half of my mustache when shaving. This could have not mattered as much, however it was my first time shaving in three days. I don't know how it had escaped me. I turned around, went home, and finished shaving before starting my morning drive all over again.

Work was normal. I had a good day, I guess. The best part of the day was dinner.

Janelle made tostadas... chicken and fresh beans and I made a fresh kick-ass tomatillo salsa with roasted jalapeno. I cannot describe all the flavors going on here! Oh and we have a secret ingredient for our beans that made them extra good.

I'm full, and better yet, all of the food was healthy!! I like healthy!!

Right now I'm making a white wine reduction with the charred bits of chicken and stuff left in the bottom of the pan. I'll serve it with tomorrow night's dinner!

I want to go home.

I'm stuck here in the office. All alone.

Alone, alone.

Bored.

With nothing very fun to do.

I want to go eat.

Meat.

A few days of healthy living.

And suddenly I'm struck with the urge to take mini bottles of booze to the harbor and drink the night away.
